Q. What is Platinum?

A. Aerobord Platinum is made from a revolutionary closed cell EPS(
Expanded PolyStyrene) with high thermal characteristics. It is grey in
colour and the material is filled with air rather than gas so it has a much
greater efficiency and lifespan as an insulant.

Q. Do Aerobord Platinum Products meet the Building Regulations?

A. Yes.

Q. With AEROFLOOR Platinum floor insulation, do you need to install a
seperating or isolating layer between it and the poured concrete floor slab?
A. No you don't. Unlike other silver material on foil-sided floor insulation
which can react with poured concrete causing adverse effects,AEROFLOOR
Platinum can be installed in direct contact with the concrete floor slab.

Q. Does AEROMARK Platinum Cavity-Fill totally fill the wall cavity.
A. No. There ia a 10mm gap generated next to the outer wall by its unique
water management system. This eliminates any problems with moisture.

Q. Are Aerobord products certified by the Irish Agrement Board?
A. Yes. You can access our products IAB Certs in the Products section of
this website.

Q. Is Aerobord Platinum recyclable?
A. Yes. It is 100% recyclable unlike other insulations which must be sent
to landfill.
