Platinum – The Clear Advantage

- No moving parts

Platinum Insulation is ideally suited to the Irish climate, it will maintain its thermal performance over the full lifetime of the building.
Platinum is resistant to rain and does not need to be protected during the construction phase.

Take control in making the right insulation choice! Before you let your architect or engineer specify insulation make sure that you both have the facts.

Aerobord Platinum is 100% recyclable and is competively priced.

Renovating your home?

Aerobord has a range of products to help you in your renovation project. As sources of readily extractable energy decline, the cost of fossil fuel based energy will continue to rise. Respected industry sources have indicated that peak oil may have already happened, others speculate that the next 5 years will see peak or plateau oil production. Emerging world economies are prepared to pay for essential energy to fuel their growing economies. In Ireland we currently import over 93% of our primary energy, the cost of Natural Gas is now linked to that of declining, expensive oil. We must reduce our dependence of fossil fuels but swapping our oil or gas burners for renewable technologies alone will not bring about improved energy consumption.

To ensure you reduce your dependency on expensive energy sources start with your home. Before making any investment in alternate energy sources it is vital to ensure your home is insulated to an optimum level. Aerobord offers a complete range of affordable traditional and next generation insulation solutions.

Aerogel Insulation

Aerobord is pleased to offer next generation insulation in the form of Aerogel based insulation called Spaceloft.  Aerogel is a silica based thermal insulation containing insulating spaces in the order of 10 nanometres across.  Like our platinum products air is the only insulation gas so the same benefits that apply to Platinum also apply to Spaceloft.  If you have an insulation challenge but with limited space available consider our Aerogyp Ultra combined insulated drylining panel.  With the lowest thermal conductivity of any insulating material available today, Spaceloft  offers renovation professionals a thin profile insulation without compromising on available space.   Aerogyp Ultra is ideally suited to older cottages, smaller rooms – anywhere that space is limited.  Spaceloft is waterproof yet breathable.

Please contact us for more information or to discuss potential Spaceloft applications.

Floor insulation

Spaceloft is also available in 3, 6 & 9 mm thicknesses and can also be used as a floor insulation where available space is limited. Please contact us for more information on Aerogel based Insulations.

Roof insulation

AeroDorm Platinum :  Pitched roof insulation system.
It couldn’t be any earlier to install our AeroDorm panels squeeze between the rafters in your roof.  Aerodrom panels self hold in place, just compress gently to position between your raters, release and the panel’s ability to expand holds it securely in place.

Aerodorm platinum is safe to use, contains no fibres and can be cut and shaped with a hand saw.   To order Aerodorm just measure the centre to centre distances between your rafters and call us.  You don’t have to be exact as the expansion of the panels will compensate for slight variations in the rafter centres.  Aerodorm platinum is supplied in 1m or 1.2 m lengths as required.

Once in place you can easily place additional Platinum sheets over them to achieve even better insulation values. Click here>>
